a lot has been written, discussed, pontificated et al about mobile phones. how this little gadget has revolutionised the world!! everyone who isn't anyone is connected - the saabs, memsaabs and the walas!! MDs, CEOs. minister saab, sabziwala, istriwala, bartanwala, maali, mithaiwala, waysidepetrolbunkwala, vakilsaab, doctorsaab - it has, in a manner of speaking, brought the world closer.
and the joy, and superpower of caller ID!! damn! why is she calling again? doesn't he know we're over? wtf does my boss want NOW (2 am?) and turning the phone off!! what bliss!!
mobile phones...cell phones - whatever!! like a spouse - you can't live with them, can't live without them!!
