holi happened...then the heat and with it the power cuts, water shortage, traffic snarls, people snarls, arguing, harried cops, pandemonium and dry taps...the list is endless. summer is here...and will be for a while now!! suck it up...and sweat!! just don't forget your deo!! ;)
and in the midst of all this unnecessary chaos, i saw the cutest sight this morning on my way to class - a toddler not more than 2 and a half years, sitting on his ownsome lonesome under a little umbrella in the blazing sun, in front of his amma's little shop, 'selling' small piles of garlic! his unwashed face, beggar brown hair and the brightest smile one could ever imagine. gorgeous! sadly, the traffic snarl that i was part of prevented me from picking up the little tyke and hugging him! sight for sore eyes, indeed!
